Pastor Melissa Tidwell
Rev. Melissa Tidwell was our guest preacher during Lent this year and became our Stated Supply Pastor in August. Before coming to Fairview she served churches in Tennessee, Ohio, and California.
Ministry is her second career; in her first career, Melissa worked in religious publishing, including five years as editor of Alive Now magazine. She is the author of a book of Advent meditations, Embodied Light: Advent Reflections on Incarnation. Melissa lives in Pine Lake, where she is working on a garden and writing a book about memory as a spiritual gift.
Lisa Grimsley, Music Director

Lisa has been the Music Director at Fairview for 37 years. She has a degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance, with a minor in Piano from the University of Georgia. She retired from teaching with the Gwinnett County School System after 29 years as a Music Teacher and Choral Director. Lisa has also taught voice privately. She has taught children of all ages, and has started and led several choirs over the years at Fairview. She directs our Adult Choir and Handbell Choir.
